UIF Presidents Summit ::
Event Guide ◈ March 21, 2022
About the Summit
This Summit will convene presidents, provosts and chancellors of academic institutions to discuss how to lead in extremely ambiguous, uncertain, and often divided times. Join a small group of Presidents to discuss the challenges we face and share strategies for success. Invitees to this event are leaders of schools that have Fellows who were trained in 2019, 2020 and 2021. This invitation is non-transferrable.
Important note: all attendees of the Meetup, including leaders at the Monday event, are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless there is a medical exemption. We are also requiring attendees to wear masks indoors, and to take a COVID test and receive a negative result prior to the start of the event. See the “COVID health information” section below for more details.

COVID Health Information
Please review the COVID safety and travel guidelines that we’ve created in this guide for all Meetup participants, which includes information about vaccination, international travel, positive cases, and more.
Event Location and Parking
Both the Silicon Valley Meetup and the Presidents Summit will take place at Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school). You are responsible for your transportation from your hotel to Stanford. The location of the d.school is 550 Panama Mall
Stanford, CA 94305. You can also find a searchable campus map and other information and directions here.
Parking on campus can be challenging to find and is not free. We encourage you to use public transit or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. A good drop-off location for ride-sharing services is 433 Santa Teresa St, Stanford, CA 94305. From there, it is a two-minute walk to the d.school.
If you must drive, the closest paid public parking can be found at 459 Lagunita Drive or at Roble Field Garage (campus parking map here). Please allow at least 20 minutes to find a parking space and walk to the d.school.
