Global Summit 2026

The UIF Global Summit is an annual, in-person gathering that brings together University Innovation Fellows and Faculty Champions from across the global UIF community. Building on UIF’s roots in Silicon Valley, the Summit is now hosted at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, offering participants the opportunity to experience innovation in a European higher-education context. The Summit creates space for learning, reflection, and collaboration around shared challenges in higher education.

Participation in the Global Summit is based on action rather than completed outcomes. Fellows are invited to share progress on their campus work after completing the training phase, such as testing an idea, engaging stakeholders, learning from early results, or adapting their approach. Fellows who demonstrate meaningful movement in their work will be invited to attend the Global Summit, where local experiments connect to global learning.
